Earthian is yet another interesting anime of different league and hue. Although, being a yaoi, that part in the story is rather undertoned. For thousands of years angels have observed the behavior of humans from their homeland Eden.

As time flies and population increases, the world starts to rumble down as chaos emerge in the different parts of the world. The people above, or we could say the angels that had watched the earth and its inhabitants for so long a time perceived that evil things is consuming the people below. Now, an angel in each pair was sent and task to observe the goodness that was still left and the other is for the madness that had risen above.

If it would prove that the people is already to wicked to let live, the earth will be wiped out of its inhabitants. The story mainly revolves upon a pair of angles that went down from heaven and disguises themselves in human form. One was Chihaya, a rather unusual angel having black hair and wings. He has no idea on what is the significance of his unusual features from the other angles, although in his quest he would soon found out about it.
The other was Kagetsuya, a typical looking angel having a blond hair and white wings. Chihaya is task to check on the positive traits of humans, while Kagetsuya is on the negative traits. For episodes one, three and four the dominating characters were Dr. Ashino, a mad doctor who creates biohumaniods. Among his creation were Taki and Takako. Later in the story in the story, it would be observable that Dr. Ashino cares for Taki more than anything else, but his madness soon reaches its limits when the two droids defies him.

But after being inspired by Chihaya, he later creates his third humanoid, this time a black angel. Taki is an android specially created by Dr. Ashino to possess inhuman strength and endurance soon found his captivity devastating and soon escapes the laboratory with Takako. Takako, like Taki is an artificial human. She would then run into Chihaya after being separated with Taki. Messiah, is black winged android whose sole purpose is to destroy the world. Though before Dr. Ashino could finish his memory chip he confronts with Chihaya and was confused. Soon he found himself protecting Chihaya at all cost.
In episode two, Aya and Miyagi makes its appearance as the other pair who checks for the positive and negative traits of the humans. Although an angel, Aya bluntly flaunts her love for Kagetsuya and her hatred for the humans. Miyagi, is the male angel who constantly checks on his partners temperament and also for humans’ positive traits. Lord Seraphim is the leader of the angels who checks on the positive traits. Their was another angel, Sapphire who fell in love with an eathian. Blair, the earthian whom Sapphire fell in love with.
