Silom Soi 2 is aptly named. It centers on Bangkok’s famous gay strip, Silom Soi 2, which is a lane filled with gay bars and restaurants. Silom Soi 2 is a heartfelt drama about modern gay life in Thailand.
Tum, the protagonist, is a young gay man who hangs out at Soi 2 to escape problems at home. He meets friends there and also actively tries to seek out potential lovers. One night, Tum meets a handsome hunk, Kaeng, who leaves with him for the night. However, Tum wakes up the next morning to find himself alone in bed. Obsessively drawn to Kaeng, Tum seeks him out, only to find Kaeng moving on to his new conquest.
