Go Go G-B.O.Y.S 当我们同在一起 (Taiwan, 2006)

A-Shin and A-Hong are close buddies since childhood. Into adult-hood, A-Hong holds a menial job and is straight, while A-Shin becomes a rock-star and is gay. A-Hong’s girlfriend runs up a hefty amount of debt on his credit card, resulting in creditors chasing after him for repayments.

In order to pay off the heavy debt, A-Hong enters into the G-Boys Beauty Contest, with a prize money of $300,000. However, as only gay men are allowed to participant, A-Hong pretends to be gay with the help of A-Shin.

A-Shin also enters the contest to aid A-Hong. Together they both aim win the title of G-B.O.Y of the year. In comes Jay, an homophobic cop, who is assigned to investigate a threat letter claiming to ruin the contest. Unknown to A-Shin and A-Hong, there is a bomber who is trying to destroy the contest.

As the story progresses, A-Shin and A-Hong soon realizes the growing passion between them.

oh god. this movie is just purely funny. it has its serious moments, but there really isn’t much of a plot, albeit a simple one.

I personally really enjoyed this it so upbeat and funny. Don't watch this if your looking for a serious movie, but it's a great film for a smile. I wished there were more gay films like this sometimes I get bored with all the too serious gay films these days. And so many gay films end in tragedy where's the fun in that? Not all gay relationships have to end in tragedy!! I love this film<3
