Note: This is Taiwanese gay drama that spans over 20 episodes. It’s one of the landmark dramas shown on Taiwanese TV that portrays homosexual subculture in Taiwan during the 1970s and 80s. Features stars including Fan Zhi Wei, Tony Yang (Formula 17) and Joseph Chang (Eternal Summer).
Set in 1974, the main character A-Qing (Fan Zhi Wei) is an individual who is caught having a scandalous moment with a fellow male individual in the institute’s laboratory. He is driven out from home by his conservative father, a retired soldier, who expects A-Qing to follow into his footsteps and enter into military college.
Banished from home, A-Qing walks into New Park, a popular gay haunt, where he meets several good friends who support him in his journey. He slowly finds his place among society and searches for his true love.
