Hilariously entertaining with just the right amount of sweetness along with a sprinkling of dark mystery that makes this movie oh-so-delectable. Feast your eyes on a variety of scrumptious-looking desserts along with the four gorgeous Korean men that run the shop. The actors succeed in creating unique, comical, and endearing characters and share such a great camaraderie onscreen. Intriguing plot too that drives the movie along and fleshes out the backgrounds of the characters – definitely wanna read the manga now! Oh, not forgetting the smoking hot Andy Gillet who plays the French ex-bf!! Mon dieu. Now if Korea had a bakery like that, i’d make an annual pilgrimage there. Even the trippy musical sequences with the Yakitate-like OTT depictions of ecstasy after the customers lends a little something to the overall feel of the movie. MUST WATCH for all sweet-toothed yaoi-fans.

I love movies from Korea because actors from this country is exceedingly great in acting. ‘Antique Bakery’ is the story of love and friendship of four men set in an antique shop that is renovated into a cake shop. I can't wait to watch it.
