Alec Simplified Chinese name is (苏有朋) and Traditional Chinese name is (蘇有朋). Alec Su You Peng was born in Tapei of Taiwan on 11 September 1973. He is a very famous Taiwanese actor and pop star. At the age of 15 he started singing in the guy band “The Little Tigers”. Further this band became the most popular band at that time and has fans from many Asian countries. In 1995 Little Tigers broke up and Alec started acting.
In 1997 he got opportunity in getting role for Chinese TV series named as “Princess returning Pearl I and 2″. For many years after that he had roles in various tv series. He has worked in many movies since 1990 however in 2008 he has decided concentrate all his acting roles in movies. He attended Taiwan’s number one institute, Taipei Municipal Chien-Kuo institute and was accepted at the prestigious National Taiwan University. Alec’s outstanding academic achievements are recorded in his book entitled “Youth Never Die.”
Alec is a successful recording artist and has release thirty top selling albums starting from his band days. In 1995 he wrote about his experiences with “The Little Tigers” and trying to be a a normal individual at the same time called “My days at Jian Zhong “/ Youth will never die.” . In 2000 he surprised the audience with another hit TV series Romance in the Rain that further drove his popularity and success to never before.
