Jo Hyeon-jae (born May 9, 1980) is a South Korean actor. He finished his studies from Myungji University.
The first song that Jo Hyun-Jae sang at the Japan fan meetings is by the Japanese R & B and pop singer Ken Hirai. His soulful voice and unconventional looks (Caucasian) won him many fans following his debut in 1992. He has sold more than 14 million copies of his albums and singles.

The song is “Hitomi wo tojiti” (meaning “Close your eyes”) from the album “Sentimental Lovers.” I wonder how JHJ chose the fan meeting songs. The first time I heard this one in Osaka, I didn’t particularly feel its charm.

But the second time I heard it in Tokyo, it started to grow on me. Now that I have done my research, I have heard quite a lot of Ken Hirai. I can say JHJ has made a wonderful choice.
